Cast

Ellen Hillman: Helen
Ellen plays Helen, a girl whose teenage years have been spent surviving the zombie apocalypse. Her brother Barney is infected and is slowly turning into a Zombie. It's up to Helen to find a way to save her little brother, all the while fighting for her own survival.
Kian Pritchard: Kevin
Kian plays Kevin, Helen's boyfriend.  He's torn between his desire to protect Helen and Barney and his want of a more carefree life.  Kevin isn't sure how serious Barney's infection is but he'll do what he thinks best...

Andrew and Daniel May-Gohrey: Barney
Andrew and Daniel play Barney, a child too young to remember the world before the apocalypse. Barney's changing state is held at bay by the raw meat his sister Helen covertly feeds him, Barney swings between the nice child he is and the zombie he's about to become.
Neil Sheffield: Dan
Neil plays Dan, a man who thought he had it all figured out: his careful preparations would get him and his wife through the worst of the zombie apocalypse. Alas, Dan is now stuck in a never-ending routine with no relief in sight.

Stuart Matthews: Father Albert
Stuart plays Father Albert, a man who entered the priesthood with a single-mindedness to share God’s words. As civilisation falls, Father Albert becomes a crusader eager to destroy zombies in the name of the Lord, anxiously working towards his salvation.
Angus Kennedy: Pete
Angus plays Pete, a former police officer who has found among Father Albert's followers a semblance of the hierarchy he was previously accustomed to. Pete took extreme measures to avoid contamination, proof that he's now ready to do anything to survive.

Gillian Broderick: Lucy
Gillian plays Lucy, a former TV show host whose had a hard time adapting to the new reality. As a prominent member of Father Albert's group, she'll try to walk the walk with him to her salvation.
Helen Coathup: Olivia
Helen plays Olivia. Once a doctor, she's now a zombie chained to a wall in the attic of her own house; her limited diet having turned her into a shadow of her former self. Her mind swings between her feral hunger and her hazy consciousness of what she has become.

Simone McIntyre: Miss Horton
Simone plays Miss Horton, a schoolteacher dedicated to what’s left of her wards. She leads Helen, Kevin and Barney south in a last ditch effort to reach islands that might still be free from the pandemic, careful not to let the children find out how slim their chances are.
Nick Ewans: Headmaster
Nick plays the Headmaster. He makes sure that all his teachers are complying with the new rules regarding the zombie apocalypse. Despite being fond of Miss Horton, their professional friendship can be challenging during these troubled times.
